Track Pads

  • Manufactured from certified national special steel;

  • Each track pad consists of two parts: the track pad and the reinforcement;

  • Both components have 8 mm thickness;

  • The reinforcement is fully welded, ensuring greater structural strength;

  • The edges are designed to be slightly lower than the contact surface, making maneuvering easier;

  • Main market sizes: 600 mm to 1,200 mm, with centered 5/8" bolt holes;

  • Custom models can also be manufactured.

  • Also known as Truck or Chassis;

  • The design is open, meaning the roller mounting bolts remain visible, which makes maintenance of these components easier;

  • Manufactured with “U” beams and 3/8" structural steel plates;

  • Features internal reinforcements and additional support around the central axle tube, preventing any torsion that could compromise structural integrity;

  • All components are fastened using track bolts and nuts made of 12.9 grade steel, increasing durability and simplifying maintenance.

Sizes:

  • 5 rollers: 1,921 mm

  • 6 rollers: 2,180 mm

  • 7 rollers: 2,380 mm

  • 8 rollers: 2,600 mm

Central Axle

  • The central axles are manufactured from special axle-grade steel and are solid.

  • Each harvester operates with a specific central axle model, such as the tapered type or the universal plate type.

  • All new assemblies use bars with a 122 mm diameter, machined down to 110 mm in the section that is fitted into the track frame.

  • We also manufacture central axles in specific models and dimensions as replacement parts.

Offset, Mounting Plate and Chassis Adapter

  • These components are responsible for fastening the tracks to the harvester chassis.

  • Each machine has its own specific adaptation model.

  • The Chassis Adapter is the adaptation component used in machines that do not have a factory mounting interface, and it is permanently welded to the machine structure.

  • The Mounting Plate (or the Offset, depending on the machine model) is bolted to the Chassis Adapter.

  • Our designs are developed with the objective of reinforcing the structure, facilitating installation, and simplifying maintenance.

  • The projects are also designed to facilitate the conversion between the use of tracks and tires.

Drive Hub and Drive Plate

Drive Hub

  • The drive hub is mounted to the harvester’s final drive.

  • It is the traction element of the track system.

  • This component is responsible for transferring engine power to the drive wheels.

  • This part may be a simple drive plate or a drive hub that shifts the drive wheel outward.

  • The length of the drive hub may vary according to the machine model and the track pad width selected by the customer.

Drive plate

Sprocket

  • A gear responsible for transferring the torque delivered by the final drive to the rest of the assembly.

  • The number of teeth varies according to the machine model.

  • The most commonly used sizes are 23 and 25 teeth.

Track Chains

  • The standard chain used in harvesters is the D4E.

  • Smaller machines use grease-sealed chains.

  • Larger machines use oil self-lubricated chains.

  • The most commonly used brands are Berco, ITR, and ITM.

  • The number of links varies according to the track frame size, with 33, 36, and 39 links being the most commonly used.

Double Roller

Double roller bushing.jpg
  • The most usual rollers in tracks are based on the D4E dozer.

  • There are two types: the Double flange, which has four flanges (one at each end and two internal), and the Single flange, which has only two flanges at the ends.

  • All track frames produced by Tonetto are equipped with mounting holes for installing the upper roller support.

  • This is an optional component, recommended when using large track pads measuring 1,100 mm and 1,200 mm, in order to prevent premature chain wear.

Idler Wheel and Sprocket Idler Wheel

  • The idler wheel is responsible for guiding the chain into the track frame.

  • We offer a new model exclusively developed by us, which we call the Sprocket Idler Wheel.

  • The purpose of this design is to reduce vibrations and provide smoother operation of the harvester, without compromising its original function.
